Privacy policy

What we store

• Your account identity (name and email), managed through Appwrite.
• Your journal data (trades, executions, notes, tags, playbooks and settings) in a private per-user database on Tradescribe servers.
• Attachments you upload to trades or journal entries.
• Broker or market-data credentials, only if you add them, stored encrypted.

AI features

AI features are opt-in per use. When you use one, only the journal data relevant to that request is sent to the AI provider you have chosen. Nothing is sent when you do not use them.

Payments

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Tradescribe never sees or stores your card number; we receive the payment confirmation needed to manage your plan.

Email

Besides account emails such as password resets, we occasionally send product updates and news about plans. Each kind can be switched off from the link in every email or from Settings, and we stop at once. These emails are sent through an email delivery provider and may record whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so we can tell what is useful. We keep a list of addresses that opted out or bounced so they are never emailed again.

Your data is yours

Your journal is private to your account. You can download a full JSON backup of your data from the app at any time.
